The MC2 Biotek Group was established in 2007 when the private investor behind three biotechnology companies wanted to establish a platform for commercialization of their technologies and projects. The three original projects comprise the MC2 Biotek Group business areas: Oral Anti-Diabetics, Drug Delivery Solutions and 3D Tissue Culture.

The business areas Skin Care and Food Supplements were established following the launch of MC2 Biotek and were both adjacencies to the core business. Both areas are based on technology and research from the original MC2 Biotek businesses.

MC2 Biotek Group has offices in Hørsholm outside Copenhagen (Denmark) and in Leatherhead outside London (UK). The UK site is a resource devoted to formulation R&D within our Drug Delivery Solutions business.

The core expertise within MC2 Biotek Group is managing R&D projects and organizations, managing organizations providing services to pharmaceutical companies, business development and alliance management.

The team behind MC2 Biotek holds extensive experience within Mergers & Acquisitions, management of pharmaceutical development and strategic consulting to the biotechnology industry. In addition to the management team, MC2 Biotek Group works with an extended virtual organization in the form of long term retained relationships with external expert advisors.
